hi there fellow parents uh we all know that getting our kids to and from school safely is priority number 1 but let's be honest some times the drop off and pick up lines can feel like a game of Tetris don't worry though I've got some tips and tricks to make it easier and maybe even a little bit fun now when it's time to drop off your child in the morning there are a few things I've learned to make the process go smoothly first make sure your child is ready before even pull up I always have my little 1 seated behind the driver's side and the back seat unbuckled with their coat and backpack in hand it's like a pit stop in NASCAR every second counts uh saying your goodbyes early while you're still in line also really helps that way when you get to the front there's no no last minute Hugon or wait I forgot my lunch moment you'll be out of there in no time when you're in the drop off Lane here are a few golden rules to follow stay in your car seriously resist the urge to get out it's like staying in your seat on a roller coaster just safer and with fewer screams follow staff directions the staff are like air traffic controllers just follow their lead and you won't end up circling the block like an airplane waiting to land be ready have your child ready to exit the car quickly imagine it's like a bumblebee Gathering honey for top secret recipe Swift and smooth great job at the end of the day pickup is just as easy if you follow these steps don't forget to click that yellow or green assigned supervisor it's like your VIP pass flash it and your child will be ready to go make sure you're in the correct Lane you will be provided with the lane you should be in midday pickup is different than afternoon pickup being in the right lane everything running smoothly for everyone it's kind of like finding the express lane at the grocery store pick the right 1 and you're out faster stay in your car just like in the morning stay in your car don't worry don't worry the staff will bring your child to remember it's like a drive-thru only with kids instead of coffee hi Emory Frey is in here miss Larson okay can you see can you see first yep get your seat first and then let's go if your child needs help buckling up pull into a parking spot after they're in the car it really helps keep the line moving for everyone think of it as a drive-through rule no counting change at the window we all want to keep our kids safe and following these procedures really makes a difference plus it'll make the whole process a lot less stressful for everyone involved no more drop off Lane drama if you ever have any questions or need the help the school office is just a call away they're always ready to assist thanks for watching and to a safe smooth and fun school year for all of us
